Welcome 2018 and yummy pie recipe!

Happy New Year!

Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to wish you a beautiful new year, thank you for your continued support of Roar & Foam and encourage you as you take little steps each day towards your goals whether that be for your health or fitness, to develop a business idea, work on your career, take on new study or work or pursue a long held dream that’s close to your heart.

What I’ve learned is that it’s possible to reach your goals if you just do a little bit each day, consistency is definitely the key!  I have a huge amount of goals that I’m currently working on and I seem to add to the list all the time. Sometimes it can seem a bit overwhelming but to conquer this, I’ve had to put some systems in place and really organise myself…not alway easy when juggling 3 kids but I’m doing it little by little each day and I encourage you to do the same. Just keep going even if you fall off the wagon or take a wrong turn. Get back on track! Small steps!

Another thing I’ve learned is if you feel you don’t know what to do or what you need to do to achieve what you want, there is help out there. You just have to be brave and ask. I am notorious for calling people to ask them how to go about doing something or for help with something and I’ve found most people love to help others. If you’re still not sure there’s always the internet so don’t give in keep going.

One of the most wonderful things I’ve discovered since opening Roar & Foam is that other women are so supportive and are so open to collaboration without a spirit of competition, it’s just wonderful!

This week, I’m having a big clear out and I’ve listed a lot of gorgeous pieces in the sale section of the store so don’t forget to head over and check it out and grab a bargain!

Also we had the most yummiest healthy dinner tonight so have a look at the recipe below, honestly it’s just so easy and quick and sooo good! My mum is quite famous for her Cheese & Onion pie and this is my take on it :)

Have a beautiful week, with much love Janine xxxx

My Cheese, Onion & Spinach Egg Pie

Preheat Oven to 180 degrees (fan forced)

Grease Pie Dish and using 2 squares of puff pastry (normal or gluten free) line the pie dish and trim edges.

Whisk 12 eggs in a large bowl

Finely chop a large brown onion and add to egg with a handful of baby spinach leaves, a big handful of grated cheese (I use Liddells Lactose Free) and season with salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture into the pie dish on top of the pastry.

Slice a big tomato or 2 and arrange on the top. I used Roma Tomatoes.

Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Will have a nice golden top when ready.

Serve with a nice chopped salad!
